Crowns

Sometimes a tooth cannot be restored by fillings. If a tooth is broken, severely decayed, has very large fillings or has had a root canal, it may need a dental crown. Dental crowns may also be used for aesthetics.

A dental crown is a covering that encases the entire tooth restoring it to its original shape and size. Tooth coloured crowns are generally used or sometimes gold crowns in the back molar teeth. Crowns restore the function of a tooth that cannot be restored by fillings.

Dental crowns can help in restoring a natural looking healthy smile.
